The Muskies beat St. Joseph on Saturday to finish the Sauk Valley league with a perfect 12-0 record. Which marks the 6th straight season since the re-formation of the Sauk Valley league the Muskies have taken the league crown. In those six seasons, the Muskies have not lost a regular season league game.

Coming off tough-luck losses in his previous two starts in which he only allowed two earned runs, Johnny Schumer was dominate against St. Joe. He went all nine innings for the complete game shutout, allowing just four hits to go along with six strikeouts. Schumer leads the team's pitching staff with a 0.73 ERA on the season.

Jace Otto paced the offense with a 2 for 4 effort with a triple and a pair of runs batted in.

The Muskies received a bye in the first round of the division playoffs and will face the lowest remaining seed Sunday evening at 8pm at Muskie Field in Sartell.
